Montreal is a lovely laid back place. Laid back in a different way from Miami. The pace of life here is slow although it is a city center. Amazing right. No wonder Montreal doesn't appear in the world map as a business center. =) Nevertheless, it provides a very surreal and tranquil environment. Just nice for studying! Right now I sit in a Starbucks sipping mint mocha frappucino with my computer plugged into the wall for power and logged on to a free internet network like the 10 other users in here. Nice slow music plays over the stereo to add to the ambience. french people really know how to enjoy huh.
Other than the alarming number of unemployed roaming the streets, seriously worse than in NYC, I love this place. Another town, another new experience.
