I'm now in New Orleans. Took me 14 hours to get here by bus from Orlando Greyhound terminal, the longest journey yet. New Orleans is so special in its own rights and has such a rich history worth mentioning. First up, jazz music originated from here. Secondly, cajun cooking and creole style cooking had their roots here in New Orleans. Not to mention my favourite Tabasco sauce and other Lousiana Hot sauce. As you can tell food has become one of our group's favourite hobbies. The price of our lunch ranges from S$16 -25 and dinner from S$20 - 30. Nevertheless, the humongous servings more than satisfy our cravings for food.
There's also a street here called Bourbon street. Yes, the drink was named after this street. This is where you can find the most bustling forms of entertainment be it adult entertainment, clubbing, pubbing or street basking. Some place huh? Listen to my jazz, get a drink, chat with friends. What more can I ask for? =)
